About Me

I am a freelance photographer, food stylist, recipe developer, and traveler based in Virginia.

I love to learn new skills and am an avid collector of hobbies. Growing up I've always had a strong interest in culinary arts and while my professional career shifted to office work, I've maintained my dream of getting back into the culinary world. I have a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, worked in kitchens, and as an event planner.

I've also always loved photography. Being able to capture an image that conveys emotion or persuades is challenging and thrilling. I've gone through many stages and my collection of cameras shows my growth. From my first point-and-shoot camera (a Nikon Coolpix) I received as a Christmas gift in middle school, a Canon Powershot with the flip screen that I used to capture many vacations and video projects in high school, to my first film camera for a photography class I took in college, to my first DSLR I used for my first paid food styling and photography gig, and my second DSLR that I've captured couples photos, travel, and food photography on.

While life is always shifting and changing, I hope to continue to do what I love and showcase my passions with anyone who is interested.
